Lord, give me the grace to accept Your love
Without reservation and return it back freely to You.
Give me the knowledge to realize that in so doing,
I must also accept Your mercy, compassion and forgiveness
And return it to others.
Let me never think that I could do anything that would cause You
to reject me; if I repent, confess and ask Your forgiveness.
Let me never think that only I can have this privilege.
May I always know that I am a sinner.
But that You love me anyway,
and your love entitles me to Your mercy.
And so shall it be for others.
Make the Word come alive in my heart,
"Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find.
Knock and it shall be opened unto you,"
and may I not reserve this Word for myself alone.
